MANDATORY FOR T3/T4
- From 2022 Dakar fuel filling caps are forbidden and is mandatory having only two quick coupling
- Coupling from maker STAUBLI, needs two coupling fitted close together, fixed on vehicle structure, no protusion out of bodyshell, left side installed in priority, one for filling and another for breezing, when breezing one start to blow out fuel, means tank is full. Hose size must be dash#12 minimum.
- Mandatory covers for male coupling installed on car to protect from dust and mud.
- For gas station refueling will need having onboard a female coupling with funnel fixed on.
- For gas station refueling competitors should be equipped with filling funnel fitted with female dry coupling.
